Gulraj was born from two names that shaped my world - Gulab and Rajpati, my grandmothers. Their love, strength, and timeless grace became the heartbeat of this brand. “Gulraj” means a valley of flowers, and that’s exactly what I wanted to create - footwear that feels like a soft bloom in your day, crafted with care, colour, and character.
Our shoes are designed in the vibrant energy of Varanasi, inspired by cultures from around the world & assembled by craftsman from across India. Every pair at Gulraj is handcrafted with intention, shaped by artisans whose stories, skills, and traditions flow into every stitch. Our designs are meant to be more than just footwear—they are pieces of emotion, memory, and artistry. A little modern, a little nostalgic, and always made to make you feel something.

Hi! I'm Shreya Dwivedi - the brainchild & dreamer behind Gulraj. What started as a simple idea back in the final year of college grew into the brand now known as Gulraj. This brand began as a tribute to the two women who shaped my world—Gulab and Rajpati, my grandmothers. Their strength, grace, and endless warmth became the foundation of everything I wanted Gulraj to stand for.
Gulraj, meaning a valley of flowers, reflects what I’ve always believed footwear should feel like—soft, joyful, full of colour, and made with intention.
I’ve always felt that shoes aren’t just an accessory—they walk with you through your moments, your milestones, and your memories. My hope is that when you wear Gulraj, you don’t just feel stylish—you feel seen, celebrated, and connected to something meaningful.
